• What is LockLatch™?

  LockLatch™ is simply a lockable latch that allows you to leave any window or door open but still locked.

• Does LockLatch™ fit on any door?

  Yes! LockLatch™ fits any door regardless of the type, size or the way it opens.

• Does LockLatch™ fit on any window?

  Yes! LockLatch™ fits any window regardless of the type, size or the way it opens.

• Is LockLatch™ adjustable?

  Most definitely. LockLatch™ can be adjusted to anywhere between 9 cm and 17 cm. PetLatch™ can be adjusted to anywhere between 16 and 24 cm.

• What is the largest possible gap?

  For standard installations, the largest possible gap is 17 cm. However if you mount LockLatch™ on the outside of the frame, a gap of 21 cm can be achieved. Use PetLatch™ if you want a gap of 16 to 24 cm or 26 cm if mounted on the outside of the frame, as shown in these photographs.

• What is the smallest gap?

  The smallest possible gap is 9 cm, which is the perfect gap size for fresh air ventilation.

• Is LockLatch™ guaranteed?

  Yes. There is a lifetime guarantee, so in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong, just return it to us and we'll replace it free of charge or give you a product refund.

• How should I care for my LockLatch®

  LockLatch products are made from C304 stainless steel and are rust resistant. So from time to time we recommend that you wipe them down with some diluted washing up liquid or similar. And for more comprehensive care instructions please see pdf here.

• Can I use LockLatch™ to give my cat access?

  Indeed. LockLatch™ is the perfect solution for this as it fits on all doors and windows, making it the perfect cat flap alternative.

• Can I use LockLatch™ to stop my windows and doors banging in the wind?

  Certainly. By using LockLatch™ as a window restrictor or door restrictor you can lock a window or door in the open position to prevent wind damage.

• Can LockLatch™ be used to lock a window or door in the closed position?

  Yes. As long as one of the footplates is mounted 8 cm in from the frame.

• How do I order my LockLatch™?

  You can place your order via our secure payment gateways and your order will be delivered via Royal Mail from our Distribution Centre in the UK.

• Is LockLatch™ available in stores?

  Not yet. As the inventor, manufacturer and retailer, we operate online in order to give our customers one-on-one service.

• How will you deliver my LockLatch™ to me?

  We deliver via Australia Post to all areas in Australia.

• What are the delivery costs?

  If you buy 1 to 2 units the delivery cost will be $10.00. Delivery is free within Australia and New Zealand though if you purchase 3 or more units.

• What is your returns policy?

  On receipt, if you’re not happy with your LockLatch™ or PetLatch™ simply return it to us, unused and in its original packaging, for a full product refund.

• How long does delivery take?

  Delivery takes 2 - 5 business (Australia) days from receipt of your order. New Zealand take approximately 7 - 10 days.

• Do you deliver outside of the Australia?

  Of course! If you live outside Australia we can still deliver your LockLatch™, noting that we will give you a delivery quote for approval first.

• What are LockLatch™ payment options?

  All order payments can be made via PayPal or direct bank transfer.

• What is LockLatch™ made from?

  Toughened C304 stainless steel with a satin finish, making it rust resistant. It’s also easy to spray paint with paint available from your local hardware store.

• Can I fit LockLatch™ to an aluminium window/door?

  Yes. LockLatch™ fits any aluminium window or door, whichever way it opens.

• Can I fit LockLatch™ to a wooden window/door?

  Yes. LockLatch™ fits any wooden window or door, whichever way it opens.

• Can I use LockLatch™ on my boat to secure the hatches?

  Yes. LockLatch™ can be used to secure any boat hatch.

• Can I use LockLatch™ on my caravan to secure the doors and windows?

  Definitely. LockLatch™ works on all caravan and motorhome doors and windows for safe ventilation and security.

• Can a thief break through a LockLatch™?

  Yes, a determined thief with a plan of action and the right tools could break through a LockLatch™, however, it is a great deterrent to prevent opportunistic theft.

• How can I fix it when I’ve overwound the lock?

  Insert the key, make sure it's engaged, then give the key a sharp turn clockwise - that should do the trick.
